I learned this the hard way
I spent the first 4+ years of my business trying to make something that didn't feel aligned.
I was so burned out that even the thought of working for my clients made my head hurt!
I was miserable, and it was affecting how I showed up. My clients felt the difference in my attitude and quality of work, my marriage was being affected and my health tanked.
I was a river of sorrow. My business that I had been nursing for years was dying on me and I HAD IT! I said so many times to myself that I wished I stayed in corporate. In my eyes I was a failure and hope was lost.
Just when I thought that things couldn't get worse I started getting sick and extremely sleepy. This added to my misery because I had work to do, I had that dream I needed to build. 3 weeks after I found out I was pregnant I had a miscarriage.
I lost all desire to continue kicking the dead horse that my business had become so I started making plans to get a J-O-B.
I got a job.
It didn't take long to realize that regulated bathroom breaks and my not seeing my son for 8-9, sometimes 10 hours per day WASN'T going to cut it.
I started to miss my baby (my business)
The Problem
My goals weren't mine.
My Offers weren't aligned.
I kept attracting clients that were ok but not amazing fits.
I didn't understand where I wanted to be in the market.
Then I realized...
The problem and the solution was me. When I gained clarity on the 3 rules the game changed.
On my way to work on morning it hit me. I was shooting in the dark in my business. I had no clear idea what I wanted to be known for, I had no idea who I wanted to serve and I had conflicting ideas around what I needed my business to look like.
I had been ignoring my natural skills and desires and instead pursued what other people had.
I was doing anything I could to get cash rather than standing in the truth of who I was and allowing the people who need me to be drawn to me.
